Michail, being the Director of the powerful LOMO Russian Arms and Optical Factory, instantly recognized the potential of the camera s superior nature and gave immediate orders to copy and improve the camera s design. The LOMO LC-A was born and took Russia by storm. Today, the Lomography brand group corporate mission statement is based on the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography. This set of rules encompasses the mission of lomographers everywhere to take as many impossible photos as possible. Looking to not just create another camera, the Lomography brand actively encourages lomographers to submit and share their pictures with the world. In fact, Lomography even publishes multiple photo booklets and includes them with many of their cameras. Cameras such as the Holga and LC A+ have become iconic symbols of lomographers everywhere.
